For the purpose of memory in the victims of 5.12 earthquake last year, we must live strongly.

We, the survived people, will face variety of challenges in life. Richness of knowledge needs strong body to drive.We ride bicycles to challenge ourselves, in order to fortify the body of Chinese will. In the future, we will never be taken down by any difficulties. Let the dead see how we live with strong will of constructing our homeland. Let the survivors see how we backup them in our own way.

·Route:
Chengud-Ande-Yutang(Dujiangyan)-Yinxiu-Baiyun Tunnel-Taoguan-Wenchuan
After arriving at Wenchuan, we turn around immediately in the coming way till we back to Chengdu.

·Check point will be setup at the above-mentioned location.

·Distance: 310km
·Terrain:From 500m/1550feet to 1480m/4600feet. 3 significant climb:8km/5miles,8km/5miles,30km/19miles.On the way to Wenchuan, only climbing!
·Difficulty: Total climbing elevation is over 2000m/6200feet. Strenuous challenge.
·Time limitation: 20.5hr.

·About our Check-Points:
1.There are 11 check-points. The disctance between every two check-points is between 20-35KM.
2.Challengers can get free sports drinks at all check-points. All energy food(Engergy Bar/Protein Bar) is NOT free.
3. Challengers need to report at all check-points and get stamp at each place.
4.If anyone miss any stamp, he/she will be considered failed to accomplish the challenge.

·About Safey:
1.Everyone needs to wear his/her own helmet and reflective safety band for the night/low light condition. There are tunnels on our way without any light.
2.Everyone must bring and use his/her own light system.
3.Everyone must abey the local traffic laws during the challenge.
4.Everyone must notice that our challenge is on the open road with traffic; there is potential dangers on the road including bad road, running cars or falling rocks,etc, which is not limited by the definition above. On other hand, no one should rest at any place close to those damaged buildings or rockslide sites.
5.Everyone should sign a Reliability Release Form, and those challengers whos are under 18, above 14, need to have their guardience to sign the form.
6.The final interpritation of all rules of this challenge is hold by this website and its owner.
